In the Department of Health Sciences are located three Bachelor programmes, an interdisciplinary Master programme, three continuing education courses and the Institute of Health Sciences. The department focuses on a close interrelationship between teaching, research and practice. Students are prepared for their future professional practice with a combination of scientifically based theoretical teaching including comprehensive practical training in clinics and healthcare facilities as well as through simulation training in specially equipped laboratories.
